Alicia, I have found the deaths of Francis PHILLIPS and wife Marguerite Ann in victoria
there is also an obituary for her father in 1955 which states amongst other things - daughter Rita (Mrs. Aldred)
so you seem to have the correct parents for her
but I have found that a Margaret A McCARTHY married an Alexander MacDONALD in NSW - possible that this lady then married Francis PHILLIPS as a 2nd marriage
Her surname is listed as McCARTY on her death and I have her parents names if needed
So that may explain why you have her listed as McDONALD which was her 1st married name and not her maiden name
This would all need to be confirmed
heavens knows who the Rita J PHILLIPS who married Charles CURTIS came from or who her parents are but they are not Francis and Margaret/Marguerite as far as I can work out
this is all rather complicated so hope it works out - I think you have the right parents for her so that would mean she is the same lady who died under surname MARR who had married ALDRED in 1925
