family of John Matthew Simpson or Ireland

Hello,
Does anyone know of a John Matthew Simpson, who all I know was Irish born (I don't even know year of birth). He married Mary Isabella McIntosh, who was born in Scotland. The couple must've settled in England (most likely Durham) because their son, John James Simpson was born in Durham in 1915. John James (John Matthew's son) married Marian Florence Hughes of Swindon, Wiltshire, then the couple, along with their 4 children, migrated to Australia in 1955. One of their 4 children was Rosalind Christine Simpson, my grandmother, who was born in Settle Yorkshire in 1944. Another one of their children was born in Lindley, Leicestershire.
Thanks, Yianni
