I am looking for Susan Tipping b.1886 Lauriston, Kyneton, Victoria
parents William Tipping and Mary Ann Rosendale.
Susan had a daughter born 1907 in Bendigo, and was on the Electoral Roll 1909 in Mitchell St, Bendigo, after that she dissappeared from the family, leaving her daughter in the care of her sisters.. ???
She had been in hospital for 'Trances' Catalepsy over a period of time..
Queanbeyan Age (NSW :Tuesday 28 June 1904
A REMARKABLE case of trance occurred in Kyenton (Vic) last week. A girl named Susan Tipping, daughter bf a Lauriston resident, and domestic servant at Mrs. W. Barker's, Carlsruhe, retired to bed at. her usual time on Tuesday night, and at latest accounts was still asleep. Efforts were made to arouse her by dashing cold water on her face, but these failing she was brought to the hospital, where she at present lies in a comatose condition. It is surmised that hysteria.is the course of the trance..
