Wendy, I have found an admission to Royal Derwent Hospital dated 1913 for the son who was born 1865 in Tasmania
father George Lewis - mother Elizabeth SULLIVAN
so the one who died in 1914 was the son not the father

http://search.archives.tas.gov.au/default.aspx?detail=1&type=I&id=HSD285/1/2342

no luck finding the fathers death as yet - could be anywhere
I have found that his father was George PLOWMAN and his mother was Maria WEST - he was born 1839 in Norfolk UK

Jean
