Hi Joanne , I have a MC from 1855 in New South Wales , therefore from church records , but it is a formal certificate and typed from the original information.
Details on certificate :
Groom details
Name , Batchelor , member of the church , and his abode
Brides details
Name , spinster , member of the church , and her abode
Abode gives town or village , not street address.
Where married , when married
Minister details
Witnesses
My certificate was at Louisa Creek , County Wellington , which I believe was changed to Hargarves , where gold was found in that period .
Cheers
David Dwyer
