Arthur Alfred & Ada LAUNDERS had a son named Edward, born 1909 Gunnedah and died 1953 Wallsend (NSW). Sadly, he was quite young when he was killed in a work accident:
The Sydney Morning Herald, Friday 1 May 1953
GUARD KILLED
NEWCASTLE, Thursday. Edward Launders, 44, married, of Kelso Street, Singleton, was killed late to-night when he was crushed between two trucks at Sulphide Junction railway station.
Launders was a guard on a goods train, which was shunting when he was crushed.
His wife was Stella Mavis BENDEICH and they had married in Singleton in 1940 (reg 16556). Not sure if they had any children, however, she died in 2005 (as LAUNDERS).
If you go to the Ryerson Index site, you can request a lookup in the Newcastle Herald of 30 March 2005 of her funeral notice, which may list family members or at least a funeral director and burial place, who may have further information.
Good luck.
