Born at Sea
Can anyone help with a birth at sea. Thomas and Sarah Cahill had a daughter at sea on board the shipJames Fernie which arrived 24 Jan 1856 from London to Moreton Bay. I think this may be the birth I am looking for as all the info we have says she was born at sea and the ages add up on certificates. We have her as Rosanna Cahill, and she is recorded as Cahill and Carroll on some of hers children's marriage certificates. We have been unable to find the birth recorded anywhere after many searches, hoping someone may be able to help.
Regards Janet.
