Hi My grandfather - Edward Evans was the younger brother of R. William Evans one time Mayor of Rockhampton. Have some information if you want. I am chasing the Larcombe clan from Rockhampton. Edward (my grandfather)married Mary Avis Larcombe in Rockhampton. Roy(Robert William) was Mayor of Rockhampton from 1936 to 1943. He was also a telented musician. The Evans' migrated from Wales with their mother Esther (Thomas) soon after the death of their father.
