IN DIVORCE.
(Before Mr. Justice Owen.)
RABONE v RABONE.
Harold Richard Rabone, who was married to Ellen Maude Hunter Rabone (formerly Routledge) at Sydney on April 7, 1923, according to the rites of the Church of England, petitioned for a dissolution of the marriage on the ground that the respondent during February, 1925, committed adultery with Ray Woodman, the co-respondent, at Bondi and other places in and around Sydney. A decree nisi, returnable six months after service was granted, and the co-respondent was ordered to pay the costs. Mr. A. V. Maxwell (instructed by Mr. A. S. Gourlay) appeared for the petitioner.
Harold's father Wm and grandfather Samuel were both Methodist Missionaries in Tonga. Harold was much older than Ellen, as he was born in 1884, in Grafton NSW.
In Sydney GLASS she found herself a man 5 yrs younger than she - good for her! :-)
