Hello Julie,
I saw an entry on familysearch.org submitted by Nigel MANN in Leicestershire for an Olive M GOLDSMITH birth in 1885 in Dublin.
I also saw an entry on the Australian National Archives for George Oliver GOLDSMITH(a brother of Olive) for WW1,it lists his father(Oliver John) in Birmingham, and George's death is recorded in NSW at St.Leonards in 1972,maybe his death notice may mention Olive?
I did find Oliver and Mary, with Emily,Howard(George?),Leopold and Olive(born 1885 Ireland) on the 1901 census at Aston Manor.
1901 census at :
http://www.1901censusonline.com/search.asp?wci=person_searchhttp://www.1901censusonline.com/search.asp?wci=person_search
enter the name GOLDSMITH and "Aston Manor" and you get the above - mentioned group of people.
Could Olive havecome out with George as an already married woman?
I don't know whether you already had this knowledge, sometimes a different approach helps.
Regards from Canberra,
Liz.
