If you look at the National Archives recordsearch, you can see the naturalization of Henry Cromer (no S), which took place in 1909. He says he was born 2nd Jan 1832, Amsterdam, aged 77, had been in Australia 57 years, it gives his immigration details (on the 'Factory', in 1854), and names his 8 children.

However he initially said he was b. 1835 and aged 78, and they made him redo the statutory declaration, so the dates may be out somewhat.
