It would probably be better to post this on the England/Lancashire forums - have a look at freebmd, you should be able to see Charles Meadowcroft Rennie's birth (listed in 1903) and his marriage. There's also a possible birth for an Albert Rennie in Oldham in 1878, and a marriage for him in 1902 (don't know who to).
