The information below appears on the 1901 census in Essex, England
Adelaide Elizabeth de la Montaigne born 1878 in Australia
George Ernest De la Monttaiger born 1882 in Australia
(Note the different spelling of the surname)
I know that Adelaide married Percy Charles Cookson at the British Embassy in Paris, but don;t know what year. In 1901 census Adelaide is noted as a married woman.
Does anyone have any information on the Montaigne/Monttaiger family? Or can suggest where I could possibly find some information.
