PAULINE PAPAFILOPOULOS 7/02/07
G'day Pauline,
sorry to say I could not find any thing about a marriage of Louise Sophie Henrietta GRABOWSKY on the "diggers" disc.
That is not to say that someone else will not find it.
I had another little hunt around and did find something else that may be of interest if you have not allready discovered it yourself.
On the National Archives of Australia I have found copies of Application for Certificate of Naturalization for both Louise and Carl GRABOWSKY (seperate applications).
These list date of arrival in 1859, the vessel and even towns that they lived in.
Interesting to note that they had 7 children and listed daughter Louisa living in Melbourne.
To visit this site click on this link;
http://www.naa.gov.au/the_collection/recordsearch.htmlhttp://www.naa.gov.au/the_collection/recordsearch.html
click on "SEARCH NOW - as a guest"
then in "Keywords or name" type in GRABOWSKY
then click on "SEARCH"
then in the "Items" line click on "DISPLAY"
scroll through until you find names of interest. If you see an Icon with the words next to it saying "View digital copy" then click on that and you will find colour copies of the original paperwork signed by this family.
If you have problems with this do not hesitate in contacting me and I will try and assist further
cheers
Tony Johnston
