Hi Narelle,
Apologies for the delayed response...I only just saw the message ! Anyway, I concur with Gordon. The safest and surest way to find out is via the transcript.
Don't know if this will help any, but have included it anyway:
Doris May Dickason (nee Hayden) died 1971-1972, as a posting about her WILL was published 15 Jan 1972, and she was from HARBORD (which is here on the Northern Beaches, and the next suburb across from where I work !) Unfortunately, the record for her, did not indicate age. However, she may have been born 1919+ as this is her husband:
Arthur Richard DICKASON b.24 Oct 1919
served WW2 May 1943 - Aug 1943 nok - Doris, also
Ronald John CORRY b.5 May 1920
served WW2 1941 - 1945, with nok listed as Charles. Muriel Dorothy again could be a 1919+ birth ??? Of course, she could have also married a younger man !!! LOL !!!
Anyway, let us know how it works out...you've peaked my curiosity now !!! All the best.
Kind regards,
Michelle.
