Hi Michelle.
Thank you.I'm interested to know what you think I should do in regards to looking further into this.It sure is interesting and the thing particularly interesting and may be more than a coincidence is that George Thomas Scott Did spend most of his working life in Castlemaine area, and married there, and had most of his children there. It could be a coincedence; but it sure has a lot of familiar things about it.I have only been told that he was born in Hawthorn Melbourne-but without a birth certificate to tell him where he was born it is not possible to confirm this.If he was indeed orphaned then he may not have known where he was born; and as we all know things get changed each time a new person hears a "story".
Also, if it's not asking too much ; what source did you use to find this information?
It sure gets the mind ticking over - now I just need to work out where to go from here.
Thanks again, you're truly a wonderful person,
Antony Welborn.
