G' Day Petra,
Hummmm! so many interesting questions, so I will try to answer them in order.
1.I am sending for Thomas HudstoneWallace's death certificate, with thehope that his parents will be listed. However if not then I hope to find themon his marriage record with Marion SquireFoyster.
2.I am not as yet able to locate a marriagerecord for Alfred Worsley Montague andRuth Lilly Wallace, perhaps she marriedhim using another surname such as Bick orBeck?
3.This one blew me out of the water! Family lore has it that gram (Vere') had two sisters who might be half sisters, but all was hush, hush.Is it possiable to check for the marriage and possiable death/divorcerecords pertaining to Ruth Lilly's prior marriage to Mr. George Bick/Beck in 1886? Where were they married?
4.We are supposing that Vere's family mayhave left for England cira 1898 as thatis the year in which Alfred's fatherdied, but we are only guessing at thispoint.
5.I have information that Vere' FairieMontague married a Robert John Stevensonin 1919 in Lambeth, a district of London,England. They immigrated the same yearto Canada, and by 1921 we find them inthe Cleveland, Ohio area of the USA whereshe died in 1968.
It seems rhat for every answer there are 2 more questions, don't you just love genealogy?Thank you again Petra for your help, I am grateful beyond belief! God Bless.
Cheers,
Pamela
