Hi,
I'm Russ Higginbotham and I picked up the threads re Joseph Smith H and co. My g gf was Bill Higginbotham , Josephs brother.
I have been chasing Joseph S but with dead ends till I found your info. I have his death cert which is fairly useless as it doesn't list wives and kids, of which he seems to have had plenty. Did he have 2 wives in aust? I have Mary Ann robinson/Robertson and potentially alice Lithgow. Would like to know how he arrived as doesn't appear in Melb or syd records altho may have sailed melb to Syd? Also if his English kids came with him, i see a Joseph later which fits times. also he was christened at st George the Martyr, southwark, on June 5 1839 with brother Thos. Any info would be great!
