Obviously we descend from the same g-g-grandparents. I to am a relative beginner at this however I may be able to help you. William Arthur Hill was born 4.12.1888 and died at Sealake, Victoria in 1955. He was a builder and built both my grandparents and g-grandparents homes in Essendon, Melbourne. He was a great friend of my grandfather (William Dalton Lycett) and fought together during WWI before his sister Daisy married my grandfather in 1919. My father remembers him quite well and I will make enquiries with him about Will Hill's family. Unfortunately this may take a week or so because my father is recovering from some surgery in hospital. In addition to this I have done quite a bit of research on Victor Hill and can tell you quite a bit about his war experiences in WWI, how and where he was killed where he is buried etc.
I can also e-mail you a copy of our family tree relating to the Hill family and photo's of Victor, Victor's grave, Daisy and possibly William Arthur (I have to confirm a photo). Do you know anything about the family of Charles Alfred Richard Hill? He was a son of Charles and Matilda and moved to Western Australia. I believe he may have been the 'black sheep' of the family but I would like to find his descendants as they may still possess all of Victor Hill's WW1 medals, scroll etc that were sent by the army to Charles after Victor's death. I will also make enquiries with my father about the other Hill's you are seeking - I must admit I've never heard of them but he will know.
Hope to hear from you soon
