Thankyou for your reply.
I am just a beginner. Last year I went to live in Dunedin where I knew my grandfather died. I had had no contact at all but with time on my hands I found the family.
Benjamin Joseph HILL is my g grandfather. The interesting thing is that the family came out to NZ abt 1864 from Melbourne all of them went back to Melbourne in the late 1870-early 1880's except for Benjamin Joseph HILL. I have not found shipping records but I did find a Militia record where they signed up ie Richard snr & jnr and Benjamin Joseph HILL. I have put alot onto a Family tree program HOWEVER at present I cannot find the disk since moving. I will try to scan a simple family tree and some family groups and email them to you. Will take a few days.
I think I have found the christening of Richard HILL b 1818 Limerick City and his brothers and sisters.
I have most of the family for Charles William and Matilda HILL but not William Arthur HILL 1889-1955 died Melbourne.
Victor George died WW1.

I am interested in tracing Edwin Benjamin and Lydia HILL nee WELLINGTON
Herbert Richard HILL b 1903
Charles Arthur Septimus HILL b 1905
There are no records here for marriages for when they may have got married.
There are many more questions but I will leave it at that.
Thanks again for the email.
I have had an email from a member of the LYCETT family and meant to email some more info but haven't.
Sally
