Edward John Dawes died on 10 October 1939 aged 79 years at Waverley Road, Mt Waverley.
At the time of his death he had lived in Melbourne Victoria for 3 years. He is believed to have had a woollen mill.
His death certificate states that he married Oliva Clara JACKSON, at Wilson Point, Sydney at the age of 55 years. Their marriage details cannot be found.
His parents were Edward John Dawes and Charity Dawes nee GAYWOOD and he was born in Romford, Essex in 1859.
Would be interested in information about him particularly his marriage to Olive and about the woollen mill.
