Warwey/Warway Family from Hanover

My great-grandfather Henry Warway was born in Australia in about 1861 or so, but I can find no record of this. Has anyone any ideas?

I have found the marriage details of his father, Carl Warwey, who was a lutheran born in Oldendorf, Hanover in 1833. He married Elizabeth Willken (b. 1830 in Salzgitter), in 1858 in the Lutheran Church in Melbourne.

Why can I not trace birth records for any of their three children? Henry or Henrietta or Marie Christiana?

Also, I do not know when Carl Warwey came to Australia or why? Are there any records available on German immigration? IF so, are they free or pay to view?

Carl and Henry were both musicians, and ended up as street musicians in London's East End. When did they leave Australia? Why? Maybee I'll never know, but I'd like to.

Grateful for any clues.
