Hi Michelle, thanks for the reply. The dates are wrong, out by a few years. Also the marriage in Wbdalla, which I think is Wahalla, is not verified in Victorian records and the Jane who dies as an infant is also not verified.
The George who dies in 1923 is not our George as I got his birth certificate. He is the george who arrived in 1852 on the Calphurnia. There are 4 Georges in the Victorian Deaths index who could be our George but there doesn't seem any way to pin him down until we find out where he retired to after his wife Emma Louisa died in 1892 at Dunkeld. Thanks for the offer to use the index I do have one pressing problem with Emma louisa Dowrick's family. She came out with her mother Mary Ann Dowrick (age 47), neeMorse, and two sisters Mary Jane and Elizabeth on the Epaminondas in 1854. Mary Jane married Henry Cotton. They had 5 children in Geelong, only 1 surviving past infancy Arthur Henry, and 6 in Dunkeld, Henrietta, Gertrude, Godwin Eardly, Edgar(died in infancy), Fanny Dorothea, and Leicester. Any information about these family members would be most helpful. I would really like to know where Jane Morse died and the fate of Elizabeth.
