Colin changed his name as he felt his own
had brought him nothing good.
Joseph Crimmings was his maternal grandfather.
Maybe?? from tipperary Ireland originaly.
J>Crimmings daughter Catherine married a Alexander Harris who's father was George Washington Harris, born in NY.NY.
in 1853 or 1856. we think GWH left his family in 1908 and maybe returned to USA.
My son worked in Maine at a summer camp and saw quite a bit of your country, he loved it.
hope to hear from you, maybe it is the same family?????????
