Robert, this Charles John Austen married Margaret Ann Parry in April 1880. Their first born was also Charles John, born in Caernarvonshire in Sept 1881; Edith Ada, same place, May 1884; Francis William, ditto, January 1887; and Herbert Gray, ditto, 1890. CJA, the father, died in February 1896. This is the family that I have documented for him. I'd like to know more about your Alfred. Would you mind contacting me by email?
