Jennifer
I am researching the Austin/Austen line. My Great Grandfather was Albert Edward Austin - however there may be a discrepancy in the spelling. I too have the census print of 1881 showing his wife Mary and family. I would like to know if I have found the correct Albert Edward. It shows on the 1901 census (I believe) that he had a daughter called Maisie (Margaret?) - my mother is named Maisie and she may be named after her Grandfathers sibling. It has been a while since you wrote in the forum I hope you get this message.

Susan
