Samuel Austen, "Springfield," Co. Cork

This Austen family was Church of Ireland, late 1700s, & family seat of "Springfield" (house name) was south of Cork city. Samuel (whose 1791 will I have copied) married Elizabeth Walton. (It is actually the Walton family of the same area that is my interest.) His father was also Samuel, & brothers Joseph & Jonas. Other family names popping up are Newenham, Bayly, Hodder & Kenney. Samuel also had lands of Ballyphillip & Adamstown. Please contact me if any of this is pertinent to info you may have. (Click on name above for e-mail address)
