Hi
At present I am not sure about the relationship with my links but I will run some checks for you.
In 1881 my direct paternal line had moved to Reading but had all be born in Walcot and a number of them had been carpenters etc.
There were quite a few Aust's around Walcot in those days do you have an address at all? Walcot is part of Bath and most of them seem to have been involved with the building of Bath especially the stone work. One David Aust built the North Bridge across the River Avon.
I have a contact that tells me that they are doing a lot of reserch into the "bath" side of the family at the moment so I know we will be able to help you.
What is your connection with the Aust family?
You must excuse me if I am a bit slow in replying to requests but I only get ocasional use of the internet.
I wish you luck with your search and will be back with the information for you soon.
Regards Lionel Aust.
