Dennis,

Have studied the Aust families for twenty years or so.

There was some movement between the Austs of Melksham and Corsham. Both areas have their problems.
The marriage of Richard of 1699 at Corsham to Mary Rutty could have been any of three Richards.

Associated with Richard, you mention another Leonard , do you have any further detail.

So far have not found any Ausr/Tarrant marriage.
