Has anyone heard of Solomon G. Osburn, born 1812/13 OH, wife Phebe A. born 1815 OH had about 9 children and lived in Boone Co., IN. Found in 1850 & 1860 Census, then disappears.
Had daughter named Ruth who married a ? Mr. Curbaugh; or Kerbo; or Carbaugh; or etc. and Mr C. had died in the Civil War leaving Ruth with 5 children to support which she adopted them out. My grt grandfather James Henry was her son Born 1857 Boone Co., IN and was adopted out twice. 1st. by a man named Benefiel(D) and after Mr. B. died then James was adopted by Mr. William Henry Cherry and they lived in IL. Mr. Cherry had adopted 5 total children but James was the only known one out of Mr. C? family. I have a picture of Solomon holding a family Bible and several unidentified family pictures.

Can you help me please!! I want a family to call my own. I want my real name and blood line.
Sincerely,
Barb
