I hope you can figure this out. I think this Thomas ran away from a family in Williamsburg and started a new family. He was married to Agnes in SC. Hope someone can prove this. This family is strange in AL. The 1840 cenus does not give the kids right either. Noah and his wife Nancy are listed in the 1860 census for Newton County, MS. Next to Naoh is a listing for a Betty Aultman. She has two daughters, Sarah and Melissa and a son named Joseph. Betty is listed as the head of the housewhole. She is 48 and was born in South Carolina.
