Diane, Got your message today and I am so excited because from what I see on the Altman/Aultman Forum you are the one! My grandfather was (is) Joseph Jordan Aultman born in Possum Valley Arkansas June 21,1881 to William David Altman born Nov? 1838? in Ga. First wife named Nancy or Josephine Ozment...They had a daughter Nancy married "Bud" Godwin...a daughter Susie marrid John Austin and then my grandfather Joseph...William's wife died in child birth or shortly after...Joseph was an infant...I have records of his marriage in August 1881 to Martha Jane Loveless..They had three more daughters...William died in 1905? My grandfather Joe died in 1964 or 1963...My father is Marvin Doyle Aultman born in Gate's Camp Crossett Arkansas...ANY info you can share is SO treasured! Thank you Elaine...
