Hi. I'll be glad to correspond with either of you. I've compiled a fair amount of info on the Mississippi Aultmans. Sylvia, I'm descended from Sara Elizabeth Aultman, your Annie Katherine's sister, so I'm interested in this family.
Chalres Prentiss was the son of George Washington Aultman (1847-1918) and Fannie Rawls. George was the son of James Aultman and Elizabeth Ann Herrin (1827-1874). This James Aultman was the son of pioneer settler Thomas Aultman (born in South Carolina aroun 1785) and Amy Watts Aultman. Elizabeth Ann Herrin was the daughter of Shepherd Herrin (born ca 1785 in S.C.) who married Sarah Lott in Marion County, MS, in 1820. Will be glad to fill in more details if you will e-mail me.
