Thanks for your message. Your Adolph is not mine. Mine was born around 1836 in Steinbach, Baden and, after coming to Cincinnati, served for four years in the 4th Ohio vol. cavalry during the Civil War. He apparently is my paternal grandmother's biological father. He died before 1890 and my grandmaother had a step father named Georg(e) Hartwig. I don't have my great grandmathers names as yet.
