The earliest I have of the Aukers is my great-grandfather, a George W. Auker who married a Sarah Marie Downing in Bryant, Jay County, Indiana on July 9, 1878. His birthdate is unknown at this time. (It has not been comfirmed but there was some reference of his birthplace to be in Ohio somewhere). Her birthdate and place of birth is December 30, 1860 in Henry County, Indiana. They eventually moved to the Flint, Michigan area. They are both buried in the Montrose Cemetery, Montrose, Michigan. Four of their five children also settled in the Flint area at one time or another and are all buried here in the Flint area as well.

If this information is of any help at all please let me know. I am in the process of contacting some of my Auker cousins to gather more information.
