I can not find anything on my fathers side. All I know is that his grandfather came from Poland/Germany as Ludwick W. Augustynski, and wife name Mary Anna Poshring I believe is how her last name is spelt. He changed his last name to Augustine and settled down in Brooklyn, Kings County.
One of his sons, my grandfather Louis Vincent Augustine, was a police officer in Brooklyn and Queens New York. He was raised by Tony Augustine an Uncle.
Can anyone can help me with this search, I am very thankful.
