I am looking for information on a Joseph Auger/Osier born in Trois Riviere,Quebec Aprox-1847 He died in Pembroke Ontario Hung in the Gaol at the age of 26 he was to have murdered a old polish lady in Brudenell.Joseph was to have had his parents and 4 brothers and sisters at home when he was hung in Dec of 1873.I am wondering if there are any relatives out there whom may have more information which they could share with me on this family and perhaps more on the actual trials.Joseph Auger by the way is buried in the old catholic cemetery in Pembroke,Ontario and he is not listed in the parish Records.Perhaps someone out there may be related and may be interested in knowing where this
ancestor has been buried.Joseph was to have been the first hanging in renfrew county.
