Thank you for your additional comments. Both
the 1947 Bruce Eyestone book and the Rev.
Sidener book contain bad errors as to the
origin of the Augenstein emigrants. There was
no such person as Hiero, for example. I have
all the baptisms and so forth taken from the
church register, going back to Jacob, born
about 1572. I am sorry that there is so much
misinformation out there, but once it is in
print... What is your lineage ? Thanks, Marshall.
