I am researching the name of Max Auer because I believe he may be the father of a friend now deceased, Hertha (Helene) Auer(Arthur) Burgess. She was an entertainer and Americanized her name early in her life. If you could tall me the name of Max Auer's wife or other information about his birth place, where he lived, and his work life I may be able to make a connection. There was another child in the family by the name of Arthur, but I have little info except that they lived in Manhatten in the 30s & 40s.
