John Auer (1828- ) married Katharina Kauer(1838- ) in the late 1850s. They both came from Baveria and met in the States. John was a Baker. Their Children are as follows:

William, born in MI, 1859- , married Annie M. Springle. They lived a while in Chicago

Charles (John), born in IL, 1863-1897 died in Chicago

Theodore Julius, born in IL, 1864-1930 married Marie M. Koenke, both died in Chicago

Clara Luisa, born in IL, 1866-1945, married Karl Friedrich Bollinger, both died in Chicago

Christopher, born in IL, 1873-1939, married Annie Dora Kamberg, he died in Blue Island, IL
