My ancestor, Elso Matthew Auen (German) came here 18 May, 1898. He married Emma Sara Bryant Deas, (a widow who was originally from South Carolina I believe) in Minnesota and they later moved to Virginia where they raised their family.
The children are (in no particular order)
Matthew Auen-married Vesia
James Auen-Married Ruth
William Auen-(Common Law?)wife Louise
John(a twin)-Married Victoria (Catholic)
Annie(a twin and my grandmother)-Married Jack Crowder
Jeffrey Auen-wife Ruby
Molly Deas-Married Tip Taylor
Cynthia Deas-Married Harry Foldesi
