While working on my TIETZE/WALKER line, I found this AUDAS family living next door to my Walker g-grandparents. I suspect that the Ameil Tietze listed, is the father of my Rose Tietze Walker and that Henrietta is Rose's sister.
1930 Census for Binghamton, Broome Co., NY - are a John T. & Henrietta Audas. He is 47 and she is 45. He indicates that both himself and his parents were born in NY. She was born in MI but her parents were from Germany. Also living with them is an Ameil Tietze ae 74, who is listed as John's father-in-law. Ameil lists Germany as the birthplace of both himself and his parents.
The Binghamton city directories for 1928, 1929 and 1930 list only these 3 Audas:
Mrs Irene Audas
Ray Audas/Raymond T. Audas
(different first names in different years)
Thos. J. (Henrietta) Audas
I'm more interested in if anyone connects to Thomas John & Henrietta Audas, but I hope this info might help others as well.
