I've been researching audas/audus/awdus for a number of years and just reviewed your message of 9/7/02.....do you know whee I could get a picture of the coat of arms you mentioned in your message?...would like to see if it's the same one that I have.
Also have you checked the Howden parish records thru the morman family library films?...there are many audus/audas/awdus people listed there going back to 1450 which astounded me!!...and I think that would be the "clue" to connecting the John Audas's both of them.
