Auclair Family Genealogy Forum

Hi Ray,
Thanks for your message. My name is Dennis, not Dave, although many have called me that, and perhaps it should BE my name.
Regarding the Auclair/Charbonneau marriage I am seeking, it occured in the 1880s, and supposedly in Canada. All the children of this marriage are presently deceased, so I don't think it's the same people as your family. My paper trail started in Providence, and then to Woonsocket, RI, then to Montreal, where I lost them... in fact I have looked for a marriage record in RI, MA and QC, all to no avail. They are truly a mystery couple, or else somewhere in Canada, a parish is missing some records which would have contained their marriage. When the last was alive, she told me her parents married in Notre-Dame Ch., Montreal; I have already checked their marriage records and came up empty-handed. Maybe it's in another "Notre-Dame" Church in some other place... possibly Taunton? possibly another state??? The search continues. Thanks for your message however. Their first names were "Joseph & Marguerite" (no Joseph- etc.s). Dennis
