Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Matthew and Elizabeth Auchmuty also had a daughter who was born in New York City on April 15, 1850. She was Fannie Elizabeth Auchmuty, my GG Grandmother, who married George Roegner, an immigrant from Germany, in 1873. Her descendants did not move to Iowa, but to New Jersey.

She also had some level of contact in NYC with Richard Tylden Auchmuty, but I'm not sure to what extent.

None of us live in NJ now, but we did up until a generation ago. Fannie died on January 23, 1892 and had seven children:

George Mendoza Roegner - my G Grandfather
Edward Roegner - descendants in Florida
Gustav Roegner - descendants
Harry Roegner - descendants in Ohio
Fanny Elizabeth Roegner - DY
Martha Roegner - DY
Geneva Roegner - never married

I'd be interested to learn about the five sons who went to Iowa.
