Hello Sue,
I dont think that there is a connection there. My grandfathers baptism record states his father-
Gedeon/Gideon Aubin was from St.Felix and
his wife, Philomene, from Stukley
He died in Worcester, age 49. Dec.06,1901
She died in " ", age 43, Jan. 04, 1901.
I belong to the ACGS, they have yet to find a
marriage record amongst all their Microfilm.
The Canadian National Archives (QUE region)
could not find anything nor could the Civil Archives, no clear cemetary records. I can only find a birth cert. for Samuel Aubin/1890/Millbury.MA, none of the earlier(older) children.... They truely are a mystery.. I figure I'll someday start with every
1700's AUBIN I find and trace my way "UP" !!!
Maybe I'll get lucky that way(!)
-John
