Doing some research for a friend on her Aubin connections. Grandfather was Phillipe Aubin and grandmother was Leona Poirier. No information is available on the Poirier side as of yet. They resided near Sturgeon Falls, Ontario. Phillipe died in 1966, Leona about 1987. Phillipes father was Joseph Aubin who married Marie Louise Gravelle in St. Felix Valois, Quebec on Feb. 8, 1892. Joseph was the son of Elzear Lambert dit Aubin who maried Elisabeth Ferland on Feb. 8, 1869 in Ste. Elizabeth, Quebec. Elzears parents were Alexis Lambert dit Aubin & Olive Letourneau. Alexis was the son of Alexis Lambert Aubelin & Genevieve Plante. The family seems to be situated around St. FelixValois and ste. Elizabeth Joliette, Quebec. Other related names include Paquin, Boisette, Plouffe, Tessier & Joly. Any other info on Aubin or Poirier would be greatly appreciated.
