Looking for relatives of, or information about LUCY ATWOOD (ATTWOOD/ATWORD/ATTWORD), born in the USA about 1838, possibly Cincinnati, OH and died 1898 in Ontario, Canada. I believe that her father was SEABORN ATTWOOD and she probably had at least 3 siblings: 1 brother (poss. Alex) & 2 sisters (one named NANCY who married HENRY MILLER in Kent Co., Ontario in 1863). Her family moved to Chatham, Kent Co., Ontario, CANADA sometime between 1851-1856, where Lucy married CLAYTON or CLAYBORN OVERSTREET (b. about 1815 KY). Lucy & Clayton/Clayborn had at least 11 children born in Kent Co., Ontario:
1. James (born 1856)
2. Mandy (born 1859)
3. Edward (born 1860)
4. Milla (born 1862)
5. Eliza (born 1864)
6. Sarah (born 1866)
7. Moses (born 1868)
8. Leah (born 1870)
9. Jane (born 1872)
10. George (born 1875) &
11. ALbert (born 1877).
I've had real difficulty tracking this ATWOOD family in the US Census before their move to Ontario. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
