Posted by: Randall Jones (ID *****2039) Date: March 01, 2008 at 05:24:16
  of 1717

Our Thomas Atwood was born in 1802 in Laurens Dist of parents born in SC and had a brother Berry.

Two Atwwods are shown on the 1810 Laurens census.
James age 26-45, 2 sons under 10 wife 26-45, and a daughter 10-16.
John age 45+, son under 10, wife 26-45, 2 daufhters under 10

1800 Census foe S C
James age 26-45 and wife 16-26

1790 SC census shows one Atwood
William in Abbeville

Could William be the father of James (born in SC) and marries a SC girl and begats Thomas, Berry and an older daughter.

An Agnes Atwood is shown in the 1800 Abbeville census. Would there be a relationship there?
