I have a J W. and Senia CASEY ATWOOD who was living in McLean Co, IL in 1880 and in Lyon Co, KS in 1885. In looking at the Lyon Co Genealogy site I did not see any burial information for them, so they may have moved on. I did see a reference in their newspapers for 1886 about the purchase of the C E Worthington store. I hope to send for the newspaper articles. J. W. Atwood was a Railroad Conductor according to the 1880 and 1885 Censuses. This couple may not have had any children as I have not located any on the census. They married in Crawford Co, OH in 1871 before going to IL. So it may be difficult to find others connected to this ATWOOD/ATTWOOD family.
